Tasks
When a task is permanently deleted:- All associated time entries are permanently deleted
- All attachments and files are permanently deleted
- This action cannot be undone
Projects
When a project is permanently deleted:- Associated tasks remain intact since tasks can have multiple or no projects
- Project-specific settings and configurations are removed
Teams
Important: Consider leaving the team instead of deletion- When leaving a team:
- The team will no longer appear in your workspace
- You can rejoin later to access all data
- Teams with no members become automatically inactive
- When a team is permanently deleted:
- All team tasks are permanently deleted
- All associated time entries are permanently deleted
- This action cannot be undone
Customers
Note: Customers with associated invoices cannot be deleted- Alternative: Set customer status as inactive to:
- Hide them from dropdown options
- Prevent selection in new invoices
- Preserve historical data
Recoverability
Items in trash can be:- Recovered within 30 days using the revert icon
- Permanently deleted using the trash icon, which requires confirmation
- Automatically removed after 30 days if no action is taken
