Pike offers three powerful views for managing your tasks, each optimized for different workflows and preferences. These views are designed with quick actions and intuitive interactions to help you manage tasks efficiently with minimal clicks.

Available Views

  • List View: A detailed, spreadsheet-like interface perfect for scanning through many tasks quickly and performing bulk operations
  • Board View: A Kanban-style layout ideal for visualizing workflow stages, managing task progress, quick status updates, and team collaboration
  • Timeline View: A Gantt-style visualization great for planning project schedules with focus on task durations (start and due dates) and long-term planning

View Selection and Persistence

All views are accessible through a unified header bar above the task view area. This header bar provides:
  • Quick switching between List, Board, and Timeline views
  • Consistent sorting and filtering controls that work across all views
  • Your last selected view is automatically saved and restored when you return to the task area

Sorting and Filtering

All views support powerful sorting and filtering capabilities. You can combine multiple filters to create the perfect view of your tasks.

Filterable Fields

  • Assignee: Filter by team members
  • Status: Filter by task status
  • Priority: Filter by priority level
  • Due Date: Filter by date ranges
  • Labels: Filter by one or more labels
  • Project: Filter by project

Sorting Options

  • Due Date: Sort by upcoming or overdue tasks
  • Priority: Sort by importance
  • Status: Sort by workflow stage
  • Created Date: Sort by newest or oldest
  • Modified Date: Sort by recently updated
  • Title: Sort alphabetically

  • Click icons/avatars or drag-and-drop between items to:
    • Reassign users
    • Change status
    • Set priority
    • Apply labels
    • Update due dates (via calendar picker)
  • Drag-and-drop between columns when grouped by any property
